These bands sell here on EBAY for up to $395, so this one is a real bargain. Very slightly imperfect New Old Stock perforated 20mm straight-end iconic Tropic Swiss vintage dive watch band from the 1960s/70s, still brand new, never used. This will be a bargain for someone who acts fast. We have sold 15 imperfect ones through this auction and only have a few of these discounted Tropics left. The band has a very slight indentation spot on only one end. The 2nd and 3rd close-up pictures show how subtle the tiny defect is with the tweezers pointing to a 7mm section. It is disguised naturally by the waffle pattern and is virtually undetectable. This auction is for ONE BAND ONLY; NO WATCH IS INCLUDED. NO PACKAGING INCLUDED. This old dive band has straight ends and the premium Tropic buckle signed ACIER on back. Vintage watch collectors know this was the original band for famous sports models luxury watches from Switzerland. This is the exact band vintage watches from the 1960s and ’70s would have come with. Tropic Swiss bands were an original accessory if the customer wanted a waterproof dive band. The ideal original Swiss dive strap for your 20mm lug dive watch or perfect for a vintage chronograph watch. A super rare size and style Tropic Swiss band to find, much less at a bargain price like this. This is a vintage NOS genuine Tropic dive strap made in Switzerland. These are long out of production and nearly impossible to find in 20mm perforated waffle finish. Other than the small dent, this band is in mint condition, very supple and well stored. The Swiss ones are thicker and much more comfortable and pliable than the unsigned tropic type. Signed on back Tropic 20mm Swiss Made Mod. Dep. with the reference number 22522. This band does not come in the packaging shown, it is for illustration only. This Tropic is sized to fit many wrists. Length measures a generous 8 1/8 inches long (20.5cm), with the pieces placed end to end, not counting the buckle. Metric measurements of the two pieces are 120mm/85mm. The sizing holes for the buckle’s tang run all the way down the middle, making the band easier to size. At the longest, with the strap pieces together and the tang in the last hole, the strap is 7 1/2 inches long (19cm) with the pieces closed together. You can size it all the way down to just 5 inches (12.7cm). Band is 5mm thick where it meets the watch and 2.6mm thick at the tail end. Single sliding keeper. Strap buckle end is 16mm if you want to substitute a vintage Rolex signed watch buckle. You are buying an imperfect item here. There are No Returns.
