This is an antique chatelaine pill box marked on the inside. The chain is not marked and not tested. It does have one small seed pearl. The back of the case looks like ECF on the engraved initials. It is hard to open and does close but not completely as shown in pictures. It may need some oil on the hinge but will close after several pushes.
